Welcome to our first grade class at the Beebe School. First grade is always an exciting learning experience for the children. This year we have 26 students in our classroom, 15 girls and 11 boys. We are working very diligenty learning to read and perfect our math skills. I hope we have a successful and enjoyable year.
On the first day of the week the children are given a weekly homework sheet. Please place this sheet on your refrigerator to remind you of each day's assignments. Homework should be returned each day. Please encourage your child to read every day. As part of the first grade reading program each child is required to complete a monthly reading calendar. This calendar is to be
returned on the first school day of the following month.
