ABOUT MYSELF

My teaching career began in Malden in 1974.I have been a Title I teacher for the past 14 years. My B.S. degree was earned at Suffolk University in Boston and my M.Ed. was earned at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. I am also reading certified.

NOTABLE AUTHORS

Realistic Fiction: Beverly Cleary, humorous family stories of everyday happenings. Vera and Bill Cleaver, Appalachian-based realistic fiction. Gary Paulsen, nature survival adventures set in northern United States or Canada. Walter Dean Myers, novels about African-American adolescents in city settings.
